Context
The iNUA Collection is a Hospitality Group, who owns a selection of 4 and 5 star hotels across the island of Ireland. This video was aired on Sky TV in 2022 as part of a brand awareness piece promoting The iNUA Collection as a consumer facing brand.
Brief
I was asked to created a short 30 second advertisement to be aired on Sky TV, promoting The iNUA Collection and raising branding awareness amongst consumers.
Process
I was provided with a 30 second audio clip, written and recorded by an agency and directed by the Marketing Team. My task was to edit a 30 second video piece to match and synergise with the audio recording.
Challenges
I had never produced an advert for TV before, and needed to seek assistance in setting the video file correctly for live TV broadcast. I also had to convey the essence of all the hotels across the group, in a very short window of time. Matching the clips and the audio required careful and precise editing.
Conclusion
Although I have edited adverts for social media previously, I had never edited an advert for TV before. Seeing my advert broadcast on live television was immensely rewarding.
